![]() ![]() Fur - farmed or wild The British Fur Trade Association (BFTA) is a member of the International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF). The IFTF promotes strict codes of practice that meet or exceed established and accepted animal welfare standards for wild and farmed fur. The BFTA and IFTF strongly condemn cruelty to animals. The welfare of wild or farmed fur species is of paramount interest to the fur sector. The British Fur Trade Association contributes towards worldwide animal conservation and welfare programmes through its membership of the International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF). The IFTF is a member of the IUCN whose mission is to “conserve the integrity and diversity of nature and to ensure that any use of natural resources is equitable and sustainable.” |
